Character from the Greek mythology. A giant with one hundred eyes designated by the Goddess Hera to become Io, her husband Zeus’s mistress’s guardian. Hermes who, on Zeeus’s orders had come to deliver Io has killed him. To honor Argos’s memory, Hera scattered his eyes on her favorite bird’s feathers, the peacock. Designed by Jean-Eudes Germain.
