From the letters of the alphabet to hand made paper, from the simple writer's word to the golden sheet, there was an "artist's" choice to be made. Letters became symbols, papers were muted into softness and metals naturally acquired a patina to become, for the glimse of a metamorphosis, the highlight of excellence.
