Merchant, Lordly Solicitor, Sergeant-Major of the Ville-Marie garrison and Governor by interim of Montreal, Lambert-Closse has landed in
Nouvelle-France around 1647. Chief with high heroic fiber and such a strong determination, he has, on multiple, occasions, put his life in jeopardy in order to defend his fellow countrymen.
His dog "Pilotte" has been recognized
for her sense of smell at driving out the ennemy and for having the ability to train her puppies at doing it. probably born in 1618 in St-Denis de Mogues, Lambert-Closse died fighting in Montreal on the 6th of February 1662.
